Our Process: From Bottle to Candle

At Bottled Candle Company, we transform discarded liquor bottles into beautifully handcrafted candles, giving new life to glass that would otherwise go to waste.

Our process is meticulous, ensuring each candle is not only visually stunning but also smooth to the touch and safe to use.

  • Step 1

    SOURCING & SELECTING

    We carefully collect old liquor bottles from local bars, restaurants, and recycling partners. Each bottle is inspected for quality and uniqueness, ensuring we use only the best glass for our candles.

  • Step 2

    CUTTING THE BOTTLES

    Using precision techniques, we hand-cut each bottle at the ideal height for a candle. This step requires a steady hand and a keen eye to achieve a clean and even cut.

  • Step 3

    SANDING & SMOOTHING

    To ensure a flawless finish, we meticulously sand the edges of each cut bottle by hand. We go through multiple grits of sandpaper and polish the rims until they are completely smooth, eliminating any sharp edges for a safe, refined look.

  • Step 4

    WAX POURING & FRAGRANCE

    We use high-quality, eco-friendly wax, hand-poured into each glass with care. Our candles are available in a variety of custom-blended scents, carefully curated to provide a soothing and inviting aroma in your space.

    FINISHING TOUCHES

    Once the wax has set, we trim the wick, add our labels, and package the candle—ready for gifting or personal enjoyment.
